Success with Joy

My approach

Not becoming someone better.Becoming more fully yourself.

Many of us learned to chase the best version of ourselves. We read the books, explore personal development, and keep looking for ways to grow.

Until a question appears:

If I’m always trying to become a better version of myself, what does that say about who I am today?

I still believe in learning, growing and pursuing our dreams. But I no longer believe we need to treat ourselves as an endless improvement project.

From self-improvement to self-discovery

Carl Jung · Individuation

The psychologist Carl Jung described individuation as the process of becoming more fully ourselves. This changed how I think about personal growth.

What if growth wasn’t about constantly improving ourselves, but about discovering and embracing more of who we already are?

Because the parts of ourselves we reject don’t simply disappear. They can remain beneath the surface, quietly influencing how we feel, react and make choices, even when we’re not aware of them.

The more we get to know and accept ourselves, the less we need to fight against who we are.

Not trying to become perfect.Learning to become more whole.

Beyond thinking.Into feeling.

You’ve spent years relying on your mind. Analysing. Planning. Solving problems. Making things happen. And you’re good at it.

Your mind has helped you build the life you have. So why would you need anything else?

Because understanding something isn’t the same as feeling it differently.

Our emotions and bodies can reveal things that thinking alone doesn’t reach. When we make space to experience what we feel, rather than immediately analyse, dismiss or change it, something different becomes possible: we can begin to recognise what we truly need, notice reactions we didn’t realise were shaping us, and respond with greater freedom.

In our work, I guide you beyond analysis, helping you connect with parts of yourself that may have been overlooked.

Not instead of thinking.Alongside it.

What’s really driving you?

Have you ever wondered why you keep pushing yourself, even when you’ve already done enough?

Is it because you genuinely want more? Or because stopping makes you uncomfortable?

Sometimes, what looks like ambition is actually fear of failure, disappointing others, or not being good enough.

And if you don’t know what’s driving you, how free are you to choose?

Together, we explore what’s happening underneath: the feelings and patterns that influence your decisions, often without you realising it.

So you can keep pursuing what matters to you, without being driven by pressure you no longer want to carry.

Drawing on psychology, emotion and body-based work, and contemplative practice, including mindfulness.

Why this works

A good life is built on connection, not achievement.

The Harvard Study of Adult Development has followed people’s lives since 1938. Its clearest finding: the quality of our relationships predicts health and happiness in later life better than success, wealth or status.

Harvard Gazette, 2023

Being yourself pays off, at work too.

A meta-analysis found that people who feel more authentic report higher well-being and are more engaged at work.

Sutton, 2020, Personality and Individual Differences

Your body often knows before your mind does.

On a London trading floor, traders who were better at sensing their own heartbeat were more profitable and lasted longer in the job.

What can change

Our work isn’t about fixing you or making you more productive. It’s about discovering what you genuinely feel, need and want, beyond the expectations you’ve learned to live by.

You may find yourself:

You can keep your ambition, and stop needing achievement to feel enough.

Some things you can only experience.

I could tell you everything about snow. How it looks, how it sounds under your feet, how cold it is. But if you’ve never touched it, my words will never be the same as holding it in your hands.

This work is like that.

That’s why it begins with a discovery session, so you can experience it, not just read about it.

Don’t just create a life you love. Be present to live it.

Maybe you don’t need to become someone else.

Maybe you need to get to know yourself more deeply, and discover what you want your life to look and feel like from here.
